There isn’t much seating at this bakery, but that’s alright, because whatever you buy will probably be devoured as soon as you have one taste of it. You could stand in line and point randomly at any item in the case of goodies and end up with something scrumptious to eat. Treat your taste buds to items like a chicken salad croissant sandwich, a chocolate mousse cake, a chocolate chip pecan cookie, macarons in a variety of flavors (chocolate ganache, raspberry, salted caramel, wild berry, lemon, butterscotch), a lemon and lime tart, shortbread, a vanilla bean crème brulée, a bacon gruyere quiche, a chocolate almond croissant, Polynesia banana passion fruit mousse, or a seasonal item, like pistachio cake or spiced pumpkin bundt cake.

Even when the line is long, service moves quickly, and you’re likely to meet Chef Reid himself, who trained in New York and Paris but serves up his sweet treats in a small town in Missouri. But it won’t feel like Missouri, because the pastries at this French bakery are just that good. Plus, make any event mouthwatering with their catering, either by ordering their sandwiches, macarons, or cakes, which come in flavors like “Chocolate Cake Vanilla Bean Mousse,” “Fresh Raspberries,” “Lady Finger Cake Caramel Mousse,” and “Salted Caramel Ganache,” to name a few.
